NMDB is a database dedicated to Nigerian movies, TV shows, and the people who make them. It is inspired by sites like TMDB and IMDb, but built specifically for Nollywood — the credits, the cinemas, and the careers that other platforms often treat as an afterthought.

Our mission

Nollywood is one of the world's most prolific film industries, yet its titles and talent are still hard to look up with the same depth Hollywood productions get elsewhere. NMDB exists to close that gap: structured credits, discoverable people, and the box office and viewership numbers that show how Nigerian work actually performs.
